Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences

Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences was faced with the task of modernising and digitising its administrative and study organisation processes. The aim was to introduce a centralised solution that would efficiently connect students, teachers and the administration. In addition to mapping all resource and administrative processes, access to information, course registration and exam organisation also needed to be significantly simplified.

Our solution

With the introduction of Evento, we were able to provide Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences with an integrated platform that digitally supports all academic processes. Students can register for courses and examinations online, create timetables and view module handbooks. At the same time, administrators and lecturers benefit from transparent, automated processes and a uniform database.
The solution was technically implemented within a few months and has since contributed significantly to an efficient, service-oriented university organisation.

Easy entry into university studies

Admission to university is one of the most important and complex administrative processes for higher education institutions.
From registration to application review to enrolment, numerous steps must be coordinated, data verified and deadlines met – often involving a great deal of administrative effort.

At a time when students expect flexible, digital and transparent processes, universities are faced with the challenge of making these processes efficient, secure and user-friendly.

We enable universities to set up any number of individually configured registration procedures for bachelor’s, master’s or continuing education programmes (MAS, DAS, CAS) – including dynamic input forms and optional online payment processing.

Even complex admission procedures involving aptitude tests or interviews can be integrated directly. Appointments can be booked online and automatically incorporated into the workflow.

This creates a seamless, media-break-free process that reduces the burden on both applicants and administrators and ensures a simple, transparent and professional start to studies.

Structured course of study

A smooth study process is at the heart of every university administration.
From the first semester to graduation, numerous processes must be coordinated – from module registration and grade entry to certificate creation. It is important to maintain an overview of academic achievements, administrative procedures and individual exceptions.

Universities face the challenge of managing complex study structures in a clear and legally compliant manner without the administrative burden becoming excessive.

Evento accompanies the entire course of study and ensures that all relevant information is available centrally, up to date and transparent.
Whether module booking, credit recognition, leave of absence, grade entry or certificate management – all processes are seamlessly integrated.

Lecturers enter grades directly into the system, students apply for leave of absence online, and the administration automatically generates transcripts in accordance with the applicable study regulations.
Invoicing, room and equipment reservations are also fully integrated – for a smooth university day without media discontinuity.

With Evento, universities can keep track of all processes at all times, reduce their administrative workload and create transparency for students, lecturers and staff alike.

Smooth completion

The end of a degree programme also presents universities with a wide range of organisational tasks: from deregistration and degree certificates to statistical evaluations. This is where the efficiency and consistency of internal processes really come into play – because graduating is not just an administrative procedure, but also a key moment in a student’s life.

With Evento, leaving is organised just as professionally as joining. All processes relating to completion, termination or exclusion are centrally controlled and documented – automatically, error-free and in accordance with the applicable study regulations.

The system creates all necessary documents, certificates and diplomas and processes de-registrations directly in the workflow. The diploma supplements, grade rankings and certificate statistics required by the Bologna system are also generated automatically.

Students can report their withdrawal online, choose the date and indicate which examinations they still wish to take – simple, digital and transparent.

This allows universities to maintain an overview of all graduation processes at all times, ensure data quality and guarantee a professional conclusion to every course of study.
