This training offers a compact introduction to the environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors that are playing an increasingly important role in the financial sector. But how can companies integrate ESG aspects into their processes and deal with the associated challenges? Swiss Learning Hub and PwC have jointly developed a practice-oriented training series that covers essential topics such as ESG regulations and disclosures, greenwashing risks, sustainable investing and ESG risk management and reporting. The training concludes with a test, upon successful completion of which you will receive a certificate of attendance.

This online training was designed for professionals who come into contact with ESG aspects in their daily work but do not require in-depth regulatory or strategic knowledge.

Interactive learning modules and practical examples will give you a solid basic understanding of sustainability issues. At the end of the training, you can check your knowledge with a final test and receive a certificate of participation.

Introduction to the basic ESG regulations in Switzerland and internationally. Overview of the most important disclosure requirements for financial actors.
Module 2: Greenwashing and greenwishing
What does greenwashing mean? How can companies and financial institutions avoid making misleading sustainability claims? Practical examples and regulatory measures.
Module 3: Sustainable investing
Fundamentals of sustainable investment strategies: Key concepts, market trends and the challenges of sustainable investing in the financial sector.
