On the first weekend in February, the time had come: The Swiss Learning Hub with the productive Corporate Editions of our customers was successfully migrated to the Microsoft Azure Center North in Switzerland. Only time2learn has not yet been migrated and will follow at a later date.
The migration was preceded by several months of preparation, migration of the development systems and the changeover to state-of-the-art technologies. Also, the migration means that we switch video streaming from the previous provider SwissTXT to Microsoft.
For you as a user of the Swiss Learning Hub, the changeover is primarily noticeable in an improvement in performance. The Azure infrastructure leads to greater fail-safety and has better cyber security protection.
