The public administration (ov-ap) is now using time2learn Young Talents to train its commercial apprentices. This means that another large commercial sector has opted for the digital education platform, with 18 out of 19 commercial sectors now working with time2learn.
Swiss Learning Hub was awarded the contract in a private tender. Replacing the previous platform and migrating all relevant training data to time2learn was a challenging and time-critical project.
Claudia Herren, co-managing director of ov-ap, comments: “We knew that the implementation time was very tight. That’s why we looked for an experienced provider with a proven product and good references. Swiss Learning Hub AG’s time2learn product was able to meet our requirements very well with its standard product. Thanks to the straightforward collaboration, the new platform and e-learning courses were introduced as planned and without delay.”
With time2learn, ov-ap comprehensively covers both the in-company and inter-company aspects of training. The Organiser, together with the Testpool, supports the planning and monitoring of inter-company courses and competence assessments, while the QV-module enables the efficient handling of the qualification process, including detailed evaluation of practical work. In addition, E-learning modules are being developed to strengthen the blended learning approach and promote the quality of training in the long term.
Local and regional organisations and chief experts were introduced to time2learn back in November 2025. Since December 2025, numerous training webinars have been held throughout Switzerland for vocational trainers to ensure a smooth transition and optimal use of the platform. And as of 1 February, all learners and practical trainers are using time2learn.
